As an active chamber musician, I love collaborating with musicians from various backgrounds—including classical and global musics. I also love the process of creativity with poets, taiko drummers and butoh dancers. Music of Erik Satie
Erik Satie once stated that he wanted his listeners to feel the music physically as well as listen to it. In order to capture this experience, recording engineer Fritz Kasten used some unusual close microphone techniques to enhance the effects that Satie might have heard as he sat at the instrument.
